About This Game Atomik: RunGunJumpGun is a tough as nails 2D Action Platformer that puts a teeth-rattling, gravity-defying weapon in your hands. With a cast of crazed characters, simple but beautifully difficult gameplay, and a pulsing musical score, Atomik is a loud, trippy mess of twitchy platforming goodness. The two-button setup is treacherously simple. One button shoots your massive gun downwards, propelling you through the air. The other shoots forward, destroying anything that’s in your path. But there is no stopping in this beautifully surreal world littered with deadly traps and soul-crushing obstacles around every corner. Players will have to constantly alternate between the two firing modes to maneuver through meticulously crafted levels where death is a promise not a possibility. There is only running, gunning, jumping, and gunning, in a mad dash to survive long enough to die again. The game takes place in the Extax System, a solar system where the Sun has begun to swell and devour planets. With most of the planets already devoured, the remaining worlds have descended into madness and superstition. Each denizen has their own theory on why the sun seems so enraged, but they all hang on one central element: Atomiks, the primary resource in the entire system. You play as a scavenger, a rogue from outside the Extax System who seems to have only one goal: get Atomiks. What do the Atomiks mean to the scavenger? Does he want to scoop up precious resources for himself, or use them as a way to appease the sun and end the suffering of the system? Or Maybe they’re just shiny pick-ups in a video game to him.Beautifully Difficult: Every second counts, and the game will test your reflexes to the fullestShield Mode: Empower your intergalactic scavenger with an energy shield and decreases the movement speed to help make the intense action more manageable, but no less heart pounding and exciting.Nonstop Action: Merciful respawns let you die fast and keep you constantly in the actionTwo button gameplay: One button lets you fly, the other blasts obstacles into heaps of rubble.Three Unique Game Worlds: Each world presents its own distinct challenges which require players to change their playstylesOver 120 levels of Mayhem: Each level is meticulously crafted to hone and test the player’s speed and tenacity.Marathon Mode: For players looking to compete for the global high score.Surreal visuals: Trippy and hyper-colourful fantasy-sci-fi art styleHyperkinetic soundtrack: Pulsing musical score blending hip hop, electronic and movie-score vibes.Warped space-opera narrative: The game features a cast of crazed, beautifully illustrated characters.Masochistic Collectables: The quest to collect “Atomiks” littered throughout levels lends an extra level of insanity to already merciless level design. A gift to self-hating completionists.Accessible single-hand gameplay: Appropriate for players with disabilities.Made by free range developers fed a pure mixture of VVVVVV, Hotline Miami, and Super Meat Boy. 7aa9394dea Title: Atomik: RunGunJumpGunGenre: Action, IndieDeveloper:ThirtyThreePublisher:Good Shepherd EntertainmentRelease Date: 31 Aug, 2016 Atomik: RunGunJumpGun Download 13gb atomik rungunjumpgun gameplay. atomik rungunjumpgun apk. atomik rungunjumpgun switch. atomik rungunjumpgun switch review. atomik rungunjumpgun steam. atomik rungunjumpgun switch review. atomik rungunjumpgun. atomik rungunjumpgun ios. atomik rungunjumpgun apk. atomik rungunjumpgun. atomik rungunjumpgun review. atomik rungunjumpgun gameplay. atomik rungunjumpgun switch. atomik rungunjumpgun metacritic. atomik rungunjumpgun ios. atomik rungunjumpgun steam. atomik rungunjumpgun metacritic. atomik rungunjumpgun review TL;DR, Fun until the game takes a sharp increase in difficulty due to new mechanics with bad controlThe game follows a pretty consistent, and fun experience for the first two worlds.Upon reaching the third world, the game thrusts upon you very poorly-made water physics. Not only is this the most confusing change in mechanics but it also causes several issues that significantly increase the difficulty, first culminating in the 21st level which took me longer than it should have find a way around. Even after beating it, it felt like I had flubbed my way through it instead of finding the route that was intended. The physics and other obstacles line up in such a way that, as far as I can tell, creates a near-impossible section. This water mechanic quickly killed the fun for me, as it posed a cheap and unstable obstacle. There's a lot of edge cases where the player will be shooting the wrong way and it's much more difficult to time your jumping/firing due to the unclarity of where exactly the player flips. Several times, the player character was completely submerged in water, yet bafflingly still shot downward instead up upward.Even after beating that level, the remainder of Section 3 is just ubismal. The level design quality went from "stellar" to "♥♥♥♥♥♥ fan-made levels" immediately. someone should tell the devs that narrow, spiked tunnels do NOT count as level design, it counts as laziness.Advertising the game as a "Tough-as-nails" game is a little disingenuous, as the diffculty is only from poor controls and cheap design on World 3. Leave the difficulty from bad controls to Bennet Foddy. Hell, several times I'd be holding LB and my character would just blindly rub into an obstacle, not shooting, because the game gets REALLY confused if you ever dare to press both bumpers within a second of each otherHonestly, just remove the water and you have a solid, enjoyable game. Or, put some additional effort into making the water physics/controls smoother and more stable. Either way, If you're going to buy this, be prepared to breeze through until World 3, only to come to a screeching halt. This whole thing just feels like wasted talent. The game has good art, (mostly) good music, and good level design for most of the game, but it feels like the devs just phoned it in near the end and thought it would still pass.. run and jump and. It's like helicopter but more exciting.. I`ve been wanting this game before it could be bought. Now that I`ve played it, I`ll have to be honest... it`s EXACTLY what I hoped for! I love the gameplay: simple, yet fun. It`s extremely tough, and you better bet that you`ll begin to rage at how mental RunGunJumpGun can get. Even with how crazy the idea and game itself are, it`s amazingly fun to play, and the silly story that goes on as you play just adds to it. 10/10. The best deal of the whole Winter Steam Sale for me. (-85%!)Absolutely amazed by everything in this game.. There's more flashing lights in this than your eyeballs after eating 100lbs of magic mushrooms. Got killed more times in this than there are grains of sand on Earth. Bought it as part of a charity bundle. I don't know if this game is fun it's more or less something to play if your nerves are too calm. Slightly RecommendedPros:-If flashing lights give you seizures, this game will give you nighmares and seizures-I stayed alive for .4 seconds-Slow-motion enabled controller won't help. Try making a time machine to slow time instead-Sneezed a few times, then died 10 times -No DLC, Season Pass, Pre-order bonuses-This game would sell keyboards if it was popularCons:-Dont't play this game if you have the hiccups or rampant sneezing-If your shift key is broken, you are shift outta luck-The levels are shorter than my libido-Aimbot doesn't work in this game. RunGun JumpGun is a wall punchingly good game. It has a kickass soundtrack, cathartically frustrating Gameplay, and for a game who's dialogue is only a sentence or so in a textbox after each level, it has a surprisingly hilarious and satirical edge. Highly recommended.. Absolutly fell in love with this game after the first few levels. They take such a simple concept but through wonderful level design make it challenging but also guide you enough with well placed atomixs in order to show you a possible path to the finish if you can time things right. Nice and fast paced and as soon as you make a mistake you are right back into the action. no lull time which I find makes it hard to stop playing. Art stlye is very fun and the hazards stand out nicely. We even made a video with our impressions!https://youtu.be/7DKw_VNIpdo. This game is hugely worth the price tag. I would say the only thing it's lacking is content, however with hunting for atomiks, and unlocking bonus boss levels, there is definitely replay value. Besides the killer ost, the game has its visuals down pat with a quite decent story. The gameplay and levels are quick and intense, you will feel challenged, but also inspired to give the level another go when you make progress. The brutal difficulty is negated when you finish a stage you spent hours on and feel like an absolute god. I would like to add that for people like me who are daunted by collectibles, and find them more of a chore than a feature. This is the only game that has made me want to get collectibles. When I saw that this game was recommended as having "masochistic collectables" I was less than excited, but after playing through the game, it makes you feel like even more of a badass upon "perfection" of a level.I would have to give it 3/3 - Too many things are done right, and it will keep you in a hypnotic trance of death and respawn.
